Hey man, so Im not a big youtuber, but I had 1900 views, and Im now at 1150 or something. I have deleted 1-2 videos I believe but they only had like 20-50 views each and all my videos are public, so how come I have lost 750 views then? also on Socialblade . com it says I still got 1900 views...·
Some others have stated something similar. Since your videos are public you should only lose view counts for deleted videos. Not sure why that is? sorry· in reply to RaygenHD

Youtube is becoming more and more user unfriendly! They make it impossible to contact any type of support, its like they are trying to strangle the life out of the company by continually making the experience worse and worse and worse with each new change that doesnt work, its a frustrating mess... Someone needs to stop the idiots at Youtube that keep saying "Hey, I have a great idea!" There was a time it all worked flawlessly but they just can not leave it alone! I been here from the beginning.· 5

My new youtube lost a couple hundred views. And there was no reason for it. It is really messed up and I'm not gaining any views? Please help!·
This really makes me mad too.My channel isn't huge, but it had 25,000 views and then overnight dropped down to around 10,600. NONE of the videos were private or unlisted, and even the mobile view bug wouldn't account for more than a 50% loss like that! And no one can give me an answer about this either. X_XFunny thing is - if I add up each video view, it still totals over 26,000. X_XThis makes me wish there were good alternatives to YT out there.·- I also noticed that after I posted a very unsatisfied message in the Youtube help forum (What a joke that is) I immediately began having all sorts of problems i.e. signing in, getting videos to load or play, people saying they never got any messages that I sent to them etc etc etc., like I was being retaliated against for voicing my opinion... Youtube needs to start having more respect for the users that help make Youtube what it is today! They have become very user unfriendly!·
- They took almost 2 million views from me and my account is 2 1/2 years old, I probably deleted less than 20 videos and no way were the views on those even close to 5K views! I have never had any private or unlisted views so what Youtube has told you in not true as to the reason they are removing users views. Also it is very unprofessional and user unfriendly to make it impossible to contact any type of support and do this to long time good standing users without telling them specifically!·
not only that they are killing creativity due to the new channel design they are going to switch us to. they are slapping us in the face and saying all you get is a small banner and thats it.
I went from 510k views to 83k views and I have NOT deleted any videos!!!!!!!!!!! I set some on private just last NIGHT though. :-(·
Thanks for the info, i lost a couple hundred views and noticed it straight away i guess. I will be rotating ( changing some from public to private ) clips in my new little music channel on a regular basis just to give the other newer clips a run for a while. So i am happy to take the view hit for that cos the newer clips will generate views anyway, plus i can always bring back the clips that i made private and gain the views back or at least i think i get the views back ? I agreee with you completely, I only just joined late last year and my views are decreasing from 10k to 1k, I have hardly deleted any videos, the analytics are show incorrectly aswell, and my videos I have changed to public and they add up to 23k, but my views still say only 1k. Youtube are stupid for putting this in the first place, people think that I hacked my subscribers because of my channel views.- Thanks for the explanation - my channel views have been reduced from 65 million to 36 million. As all my videos have been public it must be down to some videos I have deleted.·

Same, mine dropped from 368 to 118?- I received that this morning also. If you look at the top part of my video here you will see it at 3:44 in the video on my analytics page. (dark blue area) All of this information I state in my video here! NOTE: When they are talking about Private, Unlisted and Deleted views..they are ONLY talking about these views showing up on your ANALYTICS page NOT your Channel page! That is why most everyones channel page will lose views! But changing Private & Unlisted to PUBLIC will keep views in Channel
